Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and is aimed at people who want to pursue a career in Health or Social Care, or progress into Higher Education to undertake a Degree programme. It provides a practical insight into a range of Health & Social Care related topics and will include a substantial amount of valuable work experience.
Health and Social Care is an extremely varied and rewarding career, offering opportunities to help and care for people. Whether you’re a nurse looking after patients on a ward, a social worker protecting vunerable people – you will be making a difference to people’s lives every single day.

Students must be aged 18 years or over.
Minimum 4 GCSEs at grade A*-C or appropriate vocational qualification at Level 2 including English and Mathematics or an equivalent such as IGCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 qualification, or a BTEC first Diploma.
Mature students (over 21 years of age) may be exempt from this requirement on grounds of experience.
